National Fire Data Week (NFDW) is an initiative by the United States Fire Administration (USFA) to emphasize the importance of a data-driven approach in fire safety, protection, and prevention. This year, NFDW will focus entirely on NERIS, as one the top priorities for enhancing data strategies.
The Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes, in partnership with USFA, is proud to support this year’s NFDW campaign. Throughout the week, we will highlight how NERIS can transform fire safety and emergency response by:
- Benefiting fire departments, firefighters, and communities.
- Improving data quality, operational effectiveness, and access to critical information.
- Emphasizing the importance of being NERIS-ready and the steps to prepare for its implementation.
