Lauren Moxley is a communications intern for the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in media and communications and a minor in political science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Lauren previously interned with UMBC’s Office of Professional Programs in their communications department, and with UMBC’s Sports Broadcasting team. Lauren has worked throughout her college career including positions at UMBC’s student led newspaper, The Retriever, as the social media manager and at iHeartMedia as a promotion’s assistant. She is interested in working with a variety of communication mediums including technical writing, video production and editing, SEO, and social media outreach.
