Grayson Bellamy
Grayson is a research engineer with the Fire Safety Research Institute, part of UL Research Institutes. Starting in 2019 as a research intern, Grayson became involved with several projects including developing display boards for the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) and assisting with the Coordinated Fire Attack Study of garden-style apartments. Grayson holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Georgia. Following his graduation, Grayson was awarded an FSRI fellowship, where he continued his research with FSRI while earning his Master of Science in fire protection engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). Grayson continued his studies as he began his Ph.D. program at UMD in mechanical engineering, and was the first doctoral student to receive an FSRI fellowship.
