As a principal software engineer for UL’s Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), Ben Coleman brings more than eight years of experience as a software engineer. Prior to joining FSRI, he worked as a senior software engineer at Ware where he designed back-end solutions and developed serverless functions. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Georgia, a Master’s degree in geography from the University of Georgia, and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly.
